The physics job is to handle all the objectmovements like translation and rotation. It also has to take care of collistions between objects. Objects are discribed as masspoints its connections and planes. In this model all the forces on a masspoint ( like gravitation )are added up and velocity, positions and a bunch of other things are calculated. The connections between those points act like plumes, they can strech and sprain. The planes only exist so that the masspoints have something so collide with.
